The 3rd Annual Women’s March Los Angeles is happening this Saturday, January 19. Marchers will be gathering at Pershing Square at 532 South Olive Street in Downtown Los Angeles. The demonstration kicks off at 8:30 AM with a Tongva Nation Blessing, followed by speakers at 9 AM for about an hour. At 10am, the march will kick off with participants walking from Pershing Square to City Hall with programming beginning on stage at 11 AM. The event will conclude around 2 PM.
Security and law enforcement will be out in full force with roads being blocked off. If you plan on attending, leave early and take one of the many rail lines to 7th Street/Metro Center Station which is only a couple blocks away Pershing Square. Parking will be close to impossible.
Organizers have a great line-up of speakers and performers and if previous years is any indication this will be an amazing event.
