After a week of rain, the sun was on full blast, illuminating the people of passion on Saturday, January 19th.   Thousands of marchers gathered downtown at Pershing Square, where predominant women such as Gloria Allred, Katie Hill and Wendy Carrillo warmed the crowd up with inspirational remarks. What’s Up in LA : Women's March 2019 - What You Should Know.

Photographed and Written by Kemal Cilengir   The 3rd Annual Women’s March Los Angeles is happening this Saturday, January 19. Marchers will be gathering at Pershing Square at 532 South Olive Street in Downtown Los Angeles. The demonstration kicks off at 8:30 AM with a Tongva Nation Blessing, followed by speakers at 9 AM for about an hour. At 10am, the march will kick off with participants walking from Pershing Square to City Hall with programming beginning on stage at 11 AM. The event will conclude around 2 PM. City Hall were flooded Monday January 14th, with an estimate of about 20,000 teachers, students, parents and staff all united together speaking on behalf of schools all across the Los Angeles School District.
